HBO Orders More Boardwalk Empire
The New York Times is reporting that HBO has renewed "Boardwalk Empire" for a second season. Details on when that season would air were not discussed. Here is an excerpt from that article.

I grew up in Atlantic City and moved away before the casinos came. It was a wonderful place to live. When I was a child everyone dressed up when they'd go on the boardwalk. We'd ride our bikes on the boardwalk and take long walks on the beach. We enjoyed the rides on The Million Dollar Pier and spent an entire day at the Steel Pier going to see the Beach Boys and other popular rock and roll groups. At the end of the summer, we watched the Miss America Parade along the boardwalk. When I was in high school,I worked on the boardwalk during summer vacations at Tussaud's Wax Museum.The set design for Boardwalk Empire is excellent and everytime I watch an episode I long to return to the Atlantic City I knew when I was a child.
